Brewery creates the STRONGEST can of beer IN THE WORLD
A BRITISH brewery has made the world’s strongest
canned ale – with a whopping 12.7% alcohol.
It has been matured in bourbon casks, then aged
with vanilla pods and coffee beans.
James Watt, co-founder
of BrewDog, which is
based in Ellon,
Aberdeenshire, said: “We
love big flavours, and
challenging people’s
perceptions.”
He added: “Black Eyed King Imp is super intense
and complex, rocking intense notes of vanilla, rich
espresso, smooth molasses and bitter chocolate.”
The beer, which costs £9.50 a can, will be on sale in
BrewDog’s UK bars from 6pm today.
