Fresh revelations have emerged on the last
words of Lt. Col. Muhammad Abu Ali to his
soldiers before he was killed by Boko Haram
insurgents.
Col. Abu Ali, who was the Commanding
Officer, 272 Task Force Battalion at Mallam
Fatori in Northern Borno, was killed in an
ambush by Boko Haram terrorists, alongside
four other soldiers on Friday, November 4.
Ali, a recipient of the Chief of Army Staff
Award for exceptional bravery and excellence,
led the army units that recovered Gamboru-
Ngala, Baga and several communities from
the terrorists.
Ali’s death affected one of his soldiers Ayo
Adebayo, who took to twitter to reveal the
commander’s last words.
