A BRITISH brewery has made the world’s strongest canned ale – with a whopping 12.7% alcohol. It has been matured in bourbon casks, then aged with vanilla pods and coffee beans. James Watt, co-founder of BrewDog, which is based in Ellon, Aberdeenshire, said: “We love big flavours, and challenging people’s perceptions.” He added: “Black Eyed King Imp is super intense and complex, rocking intense notes of vanilla, rich espresso, smooth molasses and bitter chocolate.” The beer, which costs £9.50 a can, will be on sale in BrewDog’s UK bars from 6pm today.

Nigerian Troops Annihilate Boko Haram Terrorists Fleeing From Sambisa Forest

According to Colonel Usman, soldiers attacked a column of Boko Haram fighters fleeing in “seven pick-up vans and some motorcycles mounted with assorted weapons,” including rocket-propelled grenades and anti-aircraft guns. The statement said numerous terrorist fighters were killed in the attack.

Chelsea‘s team doctor Eva Carneiro has been in the news all week after her fallout with coach, Jose Mourinho. Carneiro and Mourinho had the now famous row during Chelsea Saturday, August 8 2-2 home draw with Swansea.

 

Mourinho fumed at the medical team for going on to the pitch to attend to Eden Hazard without knowing the extent of his injury.

She was thereafter barred from her role on the bench and was not on duty during Chelsea’s 3-0 defeat at the Etihad to Manchester City.
