Throwback: See wedding that shut down Abuja for a week
– Zara and Faisal are children of prominent
men in Nigerian society and they tied the
knot in July
– It was one of the grandest weddings ever
witnessed in Nigeria as it lasted a whole
week
– The video of the wedding shows there’s
too much money
Zara is the granddaughter of Shehu Shagari
who served as the second President of
Nigeria in the second republic (1979 – 1983),
after the handover of power by General
Olusegun Obasanjo’s military government.
Faisal is the son of a senator, Audu Idris
Umar who was elected Senator for the
Gombe Central constituency of Gombe state
in 2009.
The two found love and did a major
celebration that lasted a week in front of
family and friends. The beautiful couple sure
know how to turn of for an event as they
both looked flawless all week long of their
wedding. When you talk about weddings that
shut down the city of Abuja, mention Zara
